The frog is about half his size at 12 weeks...today Kaden is 16 weeks old and we think he's a little addicted to this frog. He plays with it all the time. Loves to eat it's legs!!! He cuddles with it when he's tired. And so we went into a panic mode. We were thinking if this becomes his "lovie" (in Vietnamese his "ghien") we better be prepared. We have been around too many kids who lose their "lovie" and the parents can't do anything to console the kids. A lot of people we know have tried to buy multiple ones of whatever a blankie or cuddly and they discontinued them or were from a specialty shop or something. So, we KNEW we have seen the frog at Target. Joel goes on the adventure to find some more frogs. He goes to two Targets and they said they don't carry them anymore! Then we REALLY panicked! We call some Carter stores and look online. Online failed us. Carter said they had some frogs... so, Joel packed up Kaden and journeyed out to Troutdale Outlet Mall... wrong frogs! We are out of luck!!! Joel has bought some friends for froggy... a little doggie and a little bear. Same brand, material, look...so...we hoped that it wasn't the actual frog he is attached to...but maybe the type of toy it is. And Lisa makes one last attempt to stop at the Target near her work... and volia! THREE OF THEM!!! So she bought them ALL!!! Now Kaden has many friends. We are going to keep some of the frog's tags on just in case we don't need them... we can spread the froggy lovie around. :-) That was a close call!!! Here's a pic of Kaden and ALL his new friends!!!! Hehehe!!!
Going too fast, growing too fast...trying to slow down and savor each moment.

I didn't want Maddox to get addicted to a stuffed animal, either. But, he sure loves one particular bear. Absolutely will not sleep without it. Unfortunately, we weren't smart like you and didn't buy 3 while we could. I don't think Target has them any more!
SO smart! Amelia got attached to a stuffed elephant that her Nana got her in some little shop and when I begged Nana to go back for a second, she got the last one!! Whew...good thing too because she can't stand to be without it even for a washing. There is a whole underground market for discontinued lovies on ebay.
